Gerber Serra Hydration Pack

For shorter outdoor excursions or for those who like to travel light, we have the Serra XC. Four external pockets and a small storage pocket on the contoured mesh waist belt contribute to its 15.4 litres of total cargo capacity and the perforated foam pack panel and contoured breathable straps contribute to its lightweight design and increased air flow. Also included: bungee straps for external storage, hidden rain flap, communication holder, and reflective accents for increased visibility.

Almost every pack maker has a hydration system, but only a couple have approached the idea in an innovative way. Instead of using a thin, soft plastic liner that can puncture and is difficult to clean, Gerber went another direction. It fitted a hard, plastic reservoir in its packs that resists thorns and can be easily removed and placed in a dishwasher.
