LED Lenser L5

There's a scene in the film WALL-E where he finds a Zippo lighter and flicks it on after 700 years in the rubble. That wouldn't happen with a Zippo but it might just with this torch. I've had mine for a couple of years and the love affair is growing. I can't give it 5 stars because everything Mike and Mark say (below) is true, it's not as bright as the T5 or the M5 and - oddly, for the "L" series - not as light either. But it throws out a great beam which adjusts beautifully, is cheap to buy and run, and feels like it will last for ever.

Decent enough torch, especially given the price. Well made, good quality, works well. The rotating on/off switch is a REAL PAIN! If it was provided with a proper switch, it'd be a great little torch.

For this reason alone, not recommended.

Pretty good EDC torch, poly and not ali for the housing, but it seems to be pretty tough regardless.
I would have preferred a full tail switch rather than the momentary button and twist system, but I can live with this - it can be handy when you only need a light intermittently. Beam not as defined as the PT, but heyho.

Good value IMO, and a good buy for those of us who like a decent torch but don't want to spend the earth on one (and who want more than 45 mins of runtime...).
