Maglite D Cell Flashlights

Still the best and now even better with the LED upgrade.

I've owned mine 17 years and put it to much hard use yet it only has a few scratches on it. I upgraded the bulb to led and now the batteries last ages, I can't remember when I last changed them. Yes its big and heavy but depending on what you want from it this is a plus, think difficult to lose and personal defense. This torch will last longer than I will plus I enjoy its iconic design. So cheap too for a design classic.

I've had one of these for about 12 years. It's incredibly well made. Powerful torch, and I use it to hammer in tent pegs when I'm camping. I've even used it to put pictures up when I couldn't be bothered getting a hammer from the garage.
Only problem is, apparently it's viewed as a weapon by some law enforcement personnel....(!)

A good solid torch that feels very robust. I think the quality is very good for the price & this torch is great value for money. Nice bright beam but I think I will still upgrade to an LED as this torch appears to have great upgrade potential which is one of the reasons I bought it.

I've owned a 5 cell for four years now still going strong been dropped from a height several times all what I've had to do was replace the bulb. A must have for emergency services personnel,best value for money in the market place.
