Photon`s rechargeable micro-light features a unique charging system that allows it to be charged up to 500 times from just about any standard household battery. The included charging adapter features magnetic battery contacts that will quickly attach to any AA or D cell battery (1.2-3V). The ReX features four extremely bright LEDs in a single-line array, and offers full-range adjustable brightness, multiple signal modes and an automatic SOS mode.

No more disposable coin-cell batteries! The ReX will charge from any standard battery of 3 volts or less. Your average cost is one third of a penny per charge when using an alkaline "D" cell battery.
The ReX will blink slowly to indicate charging is in progress. When the charge is complete, it will stop blinking and turn itself off. A full charge will typically power the ReX for 30-45 minutes of continuous use. When charging from disposable alkaline batteries, LRI estimates approximately 2 full charges from a typical AA, or 20 charges from a D battery. The ReX is designed to be recharged using any standard 1.2V - 3V battery.
Please do not attempt to charge your ReX using batteries with a voltage higher than 3V.
