The Wolf Eyes Forensic LED Light Sources Kit was specially designed and developed as a crime scene investigator`s and lab technicians tool. It is used for enhancing observations, fingerprints, body fluids, hair and fibres, bruises, bite marks, wound patterns, shoe and foot imprints, gun shot residues, drug traces, bone fragments amongst many others.

The kit consists of handheld, aircraft grade aluminium self contained visible light sources, each operating at the light frequency marked on the individual lights. This system covers the light spectrum from longwave 395nm ultraviolet to the red region of 625nm. To facilitate general crime scene searches a white LED torch is included.

  • 395nm UV-6AX-L1 (3.7v/0.5w) 9x LED: Ideal for UV sensetive powder and dyes
  • 455nm Royal Blue 6AX-L1 (3.6v-6v/1w): Locates semen, saliva, urine and blood. Detects and enhances bite marks and bruising.
  • 470nm Blue 6AX-L1 (3.6v-6v/1w): Locates semen, saliva, urine and blood. Detects and enhances bite marks and bruising. Increases contrast of latent prints. Superglue Fingerprints.
  • 505nm Cyan 6AX-L1 (3.6v-6v/1w): Increases contrast of latent prints. Superglue Fingerprints. DFO 1, 8-Diazafluoren-9-one Fingerprints
  • 530nm Green 6AX-L1 (3.6v-6v/1w): DFO 1, 8-Diazafluoren-9-one Fingerprints
  • 590nm Amber 6AX-L1 (3.6v/1w): Reduces background flourescence from surfaces treated with DFO. Is ideal for examining questioned documents.
  • 625nm Red/IR 6AX-L1(3.6v/1w): Highlighting Gun Residue. Is ideal for examining questioned documents.
  • White 6AX-L1(3.6v/1w): General crime scene searches.
  • Light Diffuser: Softens light when lower light intensity is required.
  • Tripod: Securely holds a torch for hands free applications. Features a flexible mount for a maximum height of 30cm. Enables a precise positioning of light over an area and aids in facilitating photography.
  • Goggles enable the user to block visible light in order to see flourescense.
  • 52mm camera filters enable flourescense to be photographed
