1515 knives are art of timeless
beauty and clarity of design,
uncompromising functionality and
manufactured with great attention
to detail. The origin of the name
dates back to 1515, the year when
the battle of Marignan was won by
France's King Francois the First.
After his return from the Italian
campaign, the king lived some time
in an old inn. It is in this
building today that Emmanuel
Laplace exercises his knife craft.
Each of his creations are unique
and perfectly finished with his
signature on the spacer of every
one.
The polished stag and buffalo horn
handle on this knife contrasts
perfectly with the 12C27 Sandvik
blade, with its incomparable
sheen. It is supplied with a
certificate.
