It is illegal to supply a knife to anyone under the age of 18. Heinnie Haynes actively checks the details of all orders for knives, and other edged items. These quality folders have been designed by Boker to fulfill the demanding requirements of military and special ops organisations. The main characteristic is that all models are designed to perform under any circumstances with the best price performance. Titanium nitride coated 440C stainless steel blades provide the best edge-holding ability, ideal for rugged field use. The handles are made of solid G-10, which will hold up even under rigorous field use. A deep checkering prevents slipping of the handles. The hollow-ground, partially serrated blade is secured in the opened position with the liner lock. Includes pocket-clip.

Modified Handle

I have now had more time to familiarise myself with this awkward tool. Ten minutes with a Dremel sorted the rough edges on the handle and I was even able to hollow-out enough of the material to make access to release the lock far easier, so now it works really well even with thick winter gloves on. However, the lock has now failed several times under relatively little pressure, as I had originally feared. Real potential ruined by bad build quality I'm afraid.

Imposing Presence
Reviewed by Outdoors Dad from UK
I agree with many of the other comments and in general, a little sanding and smoothing will resolve most of the flaws, but there is an almost equally wide space at both side of the open blade and the liner lock sits in the middle of the blade butt, but under stress it could easily go to the wrong side causing the lock to fail. Time and testing will tell, but as with its sibling, it's blade is awesome.

NICE KNIFE, THE ONLY DOWNSIDE I FOUND, AS FOR MILITARY USE OR COLD WEATHER, IS THAT THERE IS NOT A CUT OUT FOR PUSHING THE LEAF SPRING RETAINER BACK. IF I WAS IN A COLD CLIMATE I DO NOT WANT TO BE TAKING GLOVES OFF TO RELEASE THE BLADE OTHER THEN THAT, NICE.

Forces Tanto ii is, chunkier & heavier than my Heckler & Kotch P2000 knife, boker didn't mess around with design & workmanship on this knife, the handle is huge & the blade is heafty, pocket clip is decent, once opened the grip is better using the forefinger & thumb grip as well as the handle. For 41.95 it's excellent value for money, unless your hunting dear Forces Tanto ii should serve you well, excellent knife Boker & thanx HH for excellent delivery service over the bank holiday...

This is a really solid robust handful of a folder, sharp tanto style blade, very tight lock up on the blade when open, very effective thumb and finger stops at the start of the blade. Great G 10 wedge shaped and handle and a hole for a lanyard. this knife is only £41.00 pounds!! Ive paid much more for less in the past. this is a goodun. Boker make quality stuff !!! i wonder what the really expensive Bokers are like? Paddy

When Boker said that this knife was designed to meet US military specifications, they weren't kidding! Take it into the field and work it all you want. Boker's "Armed Forces II" tanto folder is up to the challenge! Definitely another winner from Boker!
