The Argentinian subsidiary BÖKER ARBOLITO have developed a new series of tactical use knives for the South American market, that are innovative and well manufactured. They are used widely throughout South America by the military and special ops professionals. The cleverly designed handles have a grooved micarta only which is not only strong and durable but gives excellent grip as well. The blade is made from 440A stainless steel with a high edge retention quality. It is supplied with a black leather sheath with a stainless steel clip.

It comes shaving sharp out of the box. There are some knives that look good, but you don't actually use much. I more often than not choose this for much of what I do (hiking, expeditions, kayak trips etc). It is solid, compact, dependable and strong ( a bit like your reviewer!). I used to be a para, and if I was still serving, I think this would be my choice of knife for operations. If they made a version in ATS 34 or D2 steel, then I dont think I would need another knife.
