Had mine a fair while too, but not abused it. Silky smooth opening and solid lock up, looks are not important - but it has to be said...it LOOKS COOL!

Had this knife for quite a while now, it's been used and abused form in the work shop to splitting wood in the great outdoors. A really well made knife, fit and finish is top notch and sharpening is easy but isn't need very often just a real shame that it's not being made anymore, bad move benchmade...
