The Deitmar Pohl designed Damascus Eurofighter is an impressively innovative piece. The damascus blade is made from a section of the original cannon from the Eurofighter jet.The damascus forger Markus Balbach showed a great skill in forging the cannon steel with a special tool steel to produce a blade with over 300 layers with an embossed pattern called "Great Roses." The handle is made from AlMgSi1 aluminium which was CNC machined out of one piece of metal. In contrast, inserts of Amboina root wood were set into the handle to complete the overall affect. It is supplied with a pouch featuring the Boker logo and two individual pockets for additional storage.
