It was 1915 when Heinrich Boker and Co. Solingen received the Government order to develop a compact knife that soldiers would use in the trenches during the first world war. After 90 years Boker are reproducing the original with new contemporary materials. Each knife bares a unique serial number on the tang of the blade. The C-75 high carbon stainless steel blade conforms to the original design. It is supplied with a decorative sheath.
