It was 1915 when Heinrich Boker and Co. Solingen received the Government order to develop a compact knife that soldiers would use in the trenches during the first world war. After 90 years Boker are reproducing the original with new contemporary materials. Each knife bares a unique serial number on the tang of the blade.
A sharp serration on the blade adds to the cutting efficiency of tough, fibrous materials whilst the 440C blade is corrosion resistant. The cordura sheath can be mounted in many ways and has a plastic insert for safety.
