A superlative knife. Without the usual spring pressure, the 2 3/4" long 440-C stainless steel blade gently opens and closes until it is firmly locked in position. That's because of the hardened, stainless steel lock spring placed in front of the blade path when it's open, and because of a ball bearing detente preventing an accidental opening of the blade, when it's closed. You can disassemble the knife yourself for cleaning. These knives are available with high-tech handles made of titanium, carbon fiber or G-10.

The matte finish titanium handle of the STELLAR (Top) and TITAN (middle) is light, strong, durable and attractive. In manufacturing the handle, tools, materials and pressure are taken to the limit. With engraved handle and blue anodizing.

On the TI CARBONE ((bottom), the blade is made for BÖKER from a specially developed titanium-aluminum alloy using a patented process. This alloy can be hardened up to Rockwell 50. Nevertheless, it will hold an edge in a way that is definitely comparable to that of a steel blade. The correlation between Rockwell hardness and the ability to hold an edge is not applicable to titanium alloys - different laws of physics apply. A special plating process makes the crystalline structure of the alloy visible in a very attractive way. The carbon fiber handle is an excellent complement to the unique blade.
