Ti-Mariner was developed by knife designer Dietmar Pohl and German deep sea diving champion Jens Höner. Since their first conversation and their first drawings, several prototypes made of steel and titanium have often been revised, modified and optimized to provide the ultimate rustproof cutting tool for divers.
The fulltang construction made of Alpha-beta-titanium (Grade 5) inhibits the creation of salt crystals on the handle. A double edged, 4" blade created to cut its way out of anything has ful serations from the tang 1" up the blade and micro serrations on the remaining 2" to the tip. Another version is available with a fully plain, double edged blade. It is a compact and lightweight knife that is designed to be attached to your forearm. The handle is large enough to fit comfortable to your hand, even with thick neoprene diving gloves.The package includes a multifunctional kydex sheath with leg/arm straps.
