Exhibiting an unequalled level of craftsmanship, the knives in the Tanto Series feature a lustrous satin finish on the hollow ground blade bevels and a line grain finish on the flat spine. These two finishes characterize Cold Steels state of the art grinding technique and accentuate the Tanto’s unique appearance.

Comparable to the original, except that its blade is San Mai III, making it approximately 25% stronger.

This is one of the finest knives ever made. The weight, size and balance are just perfect, the grip is comfortable and very secure, the blade is razor sharp. It has an air of massive strength combined with precision. With the thick blade it is not a slicing knife, and apart from martial arts I do not think it is that practical for daily use, but a wonderful classic and a thing of beauty to hold.
