Cheap and honest

Didn't expect miracles at this price, but what I got was a good, stout little tanto blade. It's a good partner to my EDC SAK Huntsman, which has a fine, but brittle blade.
The Colt's blade is hefty enough to hammer with a stick, and keeps its edge well, being 440C. Mine came sharp, too... The sheath seems OK, and I've added a paracord lanyard so I have some cordage.
At this price, I won't get pissed off if I lose/break it.

Bitterly disappointing.

I like tanto blades. Never had a necker before so figured I'd give it a go.
The blade was so blunt you couldn't cut paper with it. Was rounded and needed a fair bit of going over with a DC stone. I say bitterly disappointing as it is made by Colt, having been a well renowed weapsonsmith I thought it would have been reflected in their knives also. I appreciate that it is a cheap knife, however I also bought Spyderco Bug, Honeybee and Grasshopper and each of them is far superior to the Colt Mini Guardian.

A little cracker

I love this little knife. It lives in the glove compartment of my truck & I use it to punch holes in the top of 20 litre oil drums. It's still sharp, too!

What a great little knife,can wear it all day and forget its there till you need it.Magnetic retention quite strong so no chance of the knife falling out,chisel grind on the edge so easy to resharpen.
