Colt, one of the most famous names in US manufacturing history. Their knives evoke a period when a knife was your most valued companion and was handed down through the generations. They use 420 J2 stainless steel and genuine stag handle scales and are superb quality at a great price. The Railsplitter has a clip, spear, sheepsfoot and spey blade. All are non locking, under three inches and the knife is therefore a UK legal to carry knife.

Knife is great! Pluses: 1. All types of blades in this knife are great for whittling. Blades - normal sharp, but you can quickly get them razor sharp! 2. Great box, if you search for a gift, than this and other Colt knives can be great gift!
Minuses: 1. Blade play! Heinnie you need a good knife tester before ship knife! 2. After few openings you got scratches on blades. 3. Bolsters are getting darker form your hands.

A real treasure

Well, this is the perfect knife. Given that you can't carry a full tang or a lock-blade in the UK, this knife will just give you everything you generally need from an EDC.
I think that I don't need to praise it's beauty for it is evident. Made with great taste and very much attention to detail. It is also a rare pattern that is really hard to get, and impossible at this price. It is a rare beauty, the Railsplitter is a whittler pattern that gives you a larger selection of blades which makes it perfect for al round carving. It feels really solid in the hand and there is no play in any of the blades. It is also not heavy but you can feel that there is a good amount of material in it.
It was my birthday present so thank you Heinnie for the fast and prompt delivery

Colt Nailsplitter Pretty and well made knife in nice box and value for money. Unfortunately I was looking for a large (but UK legal) folder for everyday use. The mechanism is tight to say the least. Left this in box and bought a Buck Stockman. Once again great service from Heinnie, Many Thanks.
