EKA masur is the result of many years of development. The unique and beautiful handle is crafted from a single piece of masur birch. Using a new, patented technique, the masur wood is compressed and treated to give the handle its unique properties in terms of hardness and strength. The structure makes the knife light and strong. The design, with its ergonomic handle and relatively short blade, is based on generations of experience in the daily use of knives for outdoor tasks.

EKA uses stainless steel from Sandvik [12C27] to ensure a razor-sharp edge that will last. The steel is hardened to RC 58-59.
