Emerson CQC7 B

Emerson CQC7 B

The CQC-7B is by far the most sought after folding knife of all time. It is the razor sharp chisel ground knife that has become the standard by which all hard-use folding knives are now judged.

This is the Emerson knife that revolutionized the entire cutlery industry. Every knife company has their version of this knife but they fall far short when compared to the "real deal."

This knife is absolutely solid. Razor sharp out of the box.

TOUGH BUT NOT FAST
Reviewed by chipko from That London

Tough but not as quick opening as Benchmade's Axis', which I personally prefer to linerlock. That said, Axis cost 1/3 more, and it may be my technique ...

Out of the box needed one (only) run over ceramic. No lateral movement between blade and handle. Unless you need serrated, plain edge has been fine for all my cutting. Black coat seems durable, no rust (but dry use only).

Recommended if you know what you want.
