This "special" purpose knife has been expressly developed and officially adopted by the 9 REGGIMENTO D'ASSALTO PARACADUTISTI "COL MOSCHIN", elite unit of FOLGORE brigade of ITALIAN ARMY. The blade is made with N690 cobalt stainless steel, a high performance steel with excellent cutting and mechanical characteristics. It is hollow ground and hand sharpened with a Rockwell hardness of 58. The KRATON handle is fixed on the tang with an hexagonal stainless steel screw, this allows an efficient cleaning and lubing operation to give the knife an unlimited duty life. The high frip polymer and the shape allows the prompt change from sabre to reverse grip.

The new sheath is constructed using rigid ABS polylmer, it has six polymer D-Ring attachments, a tactical kit with two leg belts, and a removable belt to provide more length. The belt on the back of the sheath can be set in two positions which allows two different lengths on the leg. The security lace, with two snaps, is reversible for left handers. Every clip is made of brass to avoid oxidation damage.
