The second in a series that is the company's flagship, the Dobermann, was the first knife with the brand name Extrema Ratio. The second generation is a synthesis of all the experience accumulated by the company in the intervening years, integrated in the Dobermann frame.

The edge is razor sharp and the ventral grinding is flat to give greater strength to the point. A multi purpose knife, the Dobermann II is typically strong and ideally suited to professional and military use.
