With a simulated alligator-hide exterior, the Gator handle is versatile and extremely durable. The handle's textured exterior is permanently affixed to a solid inner core so during use it is both comfortable and rugged. The Gerber Gator Knife features top quality steel in a clip point blade design. It is light weight at five ounces and comes with a ballistic cloth sheath for belt carry. The Gerber Gator-Mate Knife is a smaller version of the Gator. Both models are available with a half serrated or full fine edge blade.

I've just bought the gator serrater knife and this knife in one special object , I sliced through a dead deer within seconds. I recommend this knife

My father is a well known serial knife abuser, & after watching him destroy 3 different well known knives (through nothing more than hard work) I bought him a gator mate about 4 years ago it's still in one piece, no side to side play in the blade,still got rock solid lock up & takes & holds a good edge, buy one, use it, hard!
