The worlds first high altitude lighter, functional at up to 4000 metres (13000 feet) the Colibri Extreme II is also windproof and waterproof to 3 ATM. Made from die cast metal and with a steel belt clip, it is a substantial and tough lighter which will be an invaluable tool for making a fire on the trail. The additional feature of a compass and signal mirror in the base gives this tool an extra highly practical dimension.

Lighter is good, the flame can be pointed down if needed and with no flip up lid you can get into tight spaces.
Compass is useless,
Mirror too small to be much use.

This lighter is a great piece of kit.
If you need a firestarter for your bugout bag then this is it. The compass ia a bonus and the mirror is better that nothing.

Lighter works very well indeed, but the screw on cap gets a little tiresome after a while. Compass is useless.
