Windmill Lighters: Delta Shockproof

I've had the above lighter for a couple of weeks now and it's superb. It's done all of the 2 weeks on the original tank of gas and would have done several more days but I'd rather not risk it-not bad for a 20 a day smoker. It's lit first time, every time and has been out in some very blowy and wet conditions without fault. It was in my pocket whilst fishing last night when I got swamped by a big wave and it light straight after, no worries. I also accidentally dropped it about 20ft vertical off of a rock ledge onto limpet covered rocks and it didn't even leave a mark. Worth every penny. Opening the lid clip every time was a bit of a ball ache to start with but I soon got used to it. I must add that I had excellent service from these guys too.

Nice lighter suited to bushcraft, robust when closed but a bit worried about the hinge strength when open, hasn't broken though.

Very good lighter. I used to get through so many windproof lighters but never had a problem with this one and its bomb proof.

My only lighter now, and I've been through a few. Great performance, easy filling, tough as anything, I think you could drop this thing from space and still put money on it working. My only complaint, the rubber armour while solid, does take abit of heat damage if you need to use the lighter for a really prolonged period. But that is really just surface scarring. Great piece of kit, handy lanyard because the thing is well camouflaged too.

Superb lighter, very strong and durable with a great fuel capacity.
Great for any extreme camping conditions etc, very wind resistant.
