In 2006 devotees of the LAMY 2000 celebrated the four decades of Lamy design with a particularly valuable edition of their favourite pen. Its body consists of an extremely sturdy, gloss polished high-tech ceramic, whose futuristic attraction is additionally enhanced by a contrasting metal trim finished in palladium.
The Lamy 2000 Limited Edition 2006 pen marked the 40th anniversary of Lamy design and was produced as a one-off edition of 7,500. To underline the exclucivity of the pen, each one bears the laser engraving "LAMY Edition 2006" and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity and a unique serial number.
