Long term review
Reviewed by Mark b from Chester
I've had this for ages and it is the every day use tool that's sits on a nail next to my chair. It's my favourite for two reasons : Firstly the knife blade deploys quickly, locks well and closes simply. Secondly the pliers deploy quickly, work easily and close simply. I use the screwdrivers sometimes and have had none of the problems other reviewers report. A good value basic tool, solid and reliable.

Cool tool, shame about the case

This is a pretty good tool, fairly good value for money but its a bit unwieldy and uncomfortable to use in all its main functions, and the bit holder had a weedy magnet in it. The case I received isn't the one pictured and it seems to be an inferior version. Its not well made or finished. Overall its OK, you get what you pay for I suppose.

Adequate, but no more than

Overall, OK for emergencies when 'proper' tools aren't available. Blade is sharp but liner lock could be better. Steel pliers are light in weight + build strength. Screw driver hex bits are good (std fitting so easily renewed) though they're not stored securely in the handle and may drop out when the tool is worn without sheath. I'd rate 2.5/5. If I ordered again I'd spend more to get better quality. NB, I'm an engineer and so may judge this more harshly than someone who'll use it less often.
