In emergency situations there are a few items that are irreplaceable, such as a good sharp knife, a flashlight and a signaling device. The new Tool Logic SL1 offers all these vital features in a very compact, functional shape.
Blade - The all-round utility shape for the 3" blade has enough point to be actually useful, yet softened with a steep drop profile at the tip. The blade has sufficient curve for most field chores and can be opened or closed easily with just one hand. 50/50 serrations add the utility of both cutting and sawing action when needed.
Flashlight - The Tool Logic SL1 contains a compact, waterproof light module. This features a brilliant white LED driven by three button cell batteries. It is activated by twisting the barrel and stays on like a traditional flashlight. It can be used with or without the blade open. There is a watertight cavity behind the light that can be used to hold spare batteries or other small items that must remain dry.
Emergency Whistle - Nothing gets attention like a piercing emergency whistle, and the Tool Logic SL1 has one built into the handle.
