The sheath has some kind of foam inside, no matter how careful I am when inserting my old Tramontina machete, it simply cuts that foam and even touches the cordura layer from the inside. Disappointing
I also bought this for my 14" Tramontina. Its excellent value with fantastic service.
I wasn't expecting much for a fiver but it's very decent indeed. Feels thick and we'll made, a few loose stitches and the carrying loop isn't great but it's a very worthwhile buy to keep your machete safe. It's suited to an 18 inch blade but I use it for my 14 inch tramontina and it encapsulates the entire thing handle and all, very happy with it and ad usual with the magnificent HH service.
