I will admit to using a gas lighter mostly these days.But it's nice to have a back-up.I like this bright orange model.I like the chunky handles you get on the flint and the striker,when you pull it apart.And the tinder compartment in the end of the handle is just a winning feature.My favourite so far.

I have been using the same Strike Force fire starter for the last 8 years. It gets used to light meths in a Trangia at least once a month all year round. Inevitably there is interest and then it has to be demonstrated on tinder. It is fabulous. I have never had to use the Wet Fire tinder in the handle compartment.

I've had one for about a year and a half now, would thoroughly recommend this. As l was used to the smaller light my fire fero stick before l got this it took a little getting used to as it is quite large but it is very solidly built and has a small hollow in which you can keep some back up tinder. Mines is still going strong after a year and a halfs use in which is gets used about every second weekend and has never let me down.
