As the #1 selling multi-tool platform to the US military, the MP600 series has been to hell and back. Serving those who serve, this tool is built to be tough and accessible. A one-hand opening design is crucial, as is the durable stainless body, the variety of 14 tools, and multiple versions that are specialized for any situation.

A Gerber MP600 that not only does everything your other MPs do, it can go anywhere, thanks to being built for compliance with “No Knife” policies. It’s part of a series of one-hand opening Gerber multi-tools used heavily by the US military. Carrying a Gerber MP600 gives you maximum flexibility in addressing life’s daily problems, and the MP600 Bladeless means you can do so even in limiting circumstances.

NEGOTIATE OBSTACLES WITH EASE Designed expressly for the unique needs of industrial facilities, hospitals, and other similar institutions that limit the kinds of items people carry on their bodies, this do-it-all tool helps ensure safety in the workplace, while still giving you the benefit of this industrial-strength MP’s muscular multitude of tools. Its needle nose pliers work when you require a precise point that can grab fine elements in small spaces, while its one-handed opening greatly simplifies a wide array of tasks. It contains rotatable, replaceable Tungsten Carbide wire cutters for use in snipping a variety of stubborn wires. This smart MP600 also holds a brawny, removable RemGrit saw, so you can take it along or simply take it out, giving you maximum flexibility with the tool in just about any situation.

TOOLS WITH TEETH Constructed of tough stainless steel, the MP600 Bladeless’s array of heavy duty tools gives you the capacity to work through a wealth of tasks without complaint. Along with the removable RemGrit saw, it holds a Phillips driver, three separate sizes of flat heads, a file, scissors, a built-in ruler, a lanyard ring, and a can and bottle opener, all of which lock in place for safe application. This do-it-all multi-tool works for you in negotiating obstacles regardless of location.

As the MP600 is bladeless it is therefore legal to carry within the UK

    Nice bit of kit

Posted by Steve on 30th Sep 2021

Is it a Leatherman? No. Does it feel as nice and polished as a Leatherman? No. What is it? It’s a multi tool I don’t have to be concerned about a bobby in a hump taking issue with. It can in my bag, pocket etc and not be a problem. Pair it up with a uk friendly pocket knife and you’re laughing.

    Great EDC

Posted by Kev Hughes on 13th Dec 2020

I bought this the same time as I bought a Leatherman Rebar (Bladeless). I wanted to compare the two and being Leatherman through and through I had already made my decision in my mind as to which one would be on my belt everyday. That was until I used both, even though the tool set on the Rebar feels more robust, the erganomics and general feel of the Gerber is far better. Everytime I used the rebar I would cut or pinch my skin on some edge or whilst closing it. The MP600 is faultless in that manner and earned a place on my belt and the Rebar is in an emergency bag in the 4x4.

Have one now and I love it

Posted by Wez on 9th Jun 2017

I thought I would leave a hands-on review on Heinnie, since I have one of these now. This is in my Maxpedition Micro pocket organiser along with my Spyderco Squeak in my left pocket. Amazing multi-plier multitool. Stunning quality and ruggedness. You can drag this thing through hell and back and it will perform. As good as my old one and now in black! I love the black colour. UK Legal (bladeless).

Remgrit rasp, or any jigsaw type blade!

Posted by Folkie on 8th Mar 2017

One reviewer complained about the choice of a Remgrit rasp, because of availability. I think that this is an unfair criticism, since the tool uses a standard jigsaw blade pattern; you can use any similar fitting jigsaw blade of whatever type you want: a different grit rasp, or indeed a metal saw, a wood saw, or whatever you like.

    UK legal?

Posted by AJ on 8th Dec 2016

S.139 (2) Criminal justice Act 1988 states: " this section applies to any article which has a blade or is sharply pointed except a folding pocketknife" Do we not think the scissors, bottle opener and screwdrivers are pointed? The saw is a bladed article , as is the can opener. I would personally only carry this if you have "good reason"

    MP 600 BLADELESS

Posted by SteelHeadSteve on 18th Oct 2016

I saw a couple of YouTube videos of this model, that raised my interest. #1 by "gideonstactical" (Travel Ready : Gerber MP 600 Bladeless Multi-Tool). #2 by "sootch00" (Gerber MP600 ST Multi-Plier). So, I really like this model as a fully legal EDC in the UK. It arrives with a torx tool for the rotatable tungsten cutters. The first thing you need to do is clean it, then oil it. The black coating is quite dirty from the factory. I have removed my RemGrit saw-blade to make it double safe for airports etc. This model does not have a lanyard ring. For smooth one-handed opening, you will need to open and close many times to wear it in. Love the scissors, they are very good. This is made in the USA and has a 25 year warranty. I have put mine in a Boker "Tasmanian Tiger" pouch. It fits perfectly. MOLLE or Belt. HH code - 09TA006. Thanks to HH for a great price. I am very pleased with my purchase !

    Black...

Posted by BH from BELGIUM on 13th Oct 2016

I wanted one of these as I had to go on a trip in France .I never go out without such a tool (Victorinox, Leatherman, SOG or Gerber) but, I want to stay surely on the right side of the Law when I go abroad . The Bladeless Gerber appeared to be the best choice for my needs. Great quality as always with the Gerber USA made tools, easy ergos (one hand opening pliers), rather lightweight but solid construction, it would be a 5 star rating but... But why do Gerber fit those Remgrit rasps on their high end multi-tools? Good stuff, indeed, but I've never found a single spare Remgrit here in Belgium!? A more common replaceable blade would be better . This cost half a star in my rating (come on Heinnie, start listing spare parts for Gerber as you already do with SOG and Victorinox...). I could not buy it from Heinnie, this time, since it wasn't listed at the time I needed it the most. Sorry HH, next time, for sure. PS. Sorry for the broken English, French is my native language...

Fair disclosure, I turned my MP600 into bladeless

Posted by Wez on 29th Sep 2016

I have plans to buy one of these. I have the MP600 which is identical to this but has no blade in it so that it is UK legal. I removed my blade and replaced with a split washer to fill the gap. This tool is the BEST multi-tool plier I have ever owned. You can squeeze as hard as you want, stamp on it, it will not break or snap like leathermans do. The price is a bit steep but if you want an insanely high quality and highly capable tool, you will be buying this one. Please take my word for it. I ordered my mp600 from heinnie many many years ago and it is as useful today as it was back when I bought it all those years ago. You can even disassemble it for cleaning. Buy one, or buy your DIY/Mechanically inclined/tinkerer significant other one. I have my old one in my backpack that I take to work but I want to get one of these because they are black and already come bladeless. I hate not having my MP600 ready near my computer, as I have to dig it out of my backpack because I don't want to leave home for work without it.
