The Inova XO is the first flashlight designed
to collect, concentrate and deliver +90% of
the light generated by high-powered LED
lamps. This innovation in optical efficiency
means a light beam, effective up to 200', that

The power-regulated XO maintains peak
brightness over battery life. Responsive, reliable
operation is derived from the XO's patent-pending,
three-mode switch cap with non-slip
button. Thorough quality at the switch-end
also ensures water resistance and protection
against accidental activation in transport.
TIROS optics performance
by design
The XO's patent-pending TIROS (Total Internal
Reflection Optical System) one-piece lens is the
technology behind the XO's enhanced light
delivery. It is the achievement of a joint two-year
R&D effort with Optical Research Associates,
the firm called upon by NASA and the US military
to develop the world's most advanced optical
systems. Firing beams with rifle-like precision,
the TIROS lens delivers more lumens per watt
at a greater distance than comparably sized
lens systems. The benefit is compelling: users
get the brightness they need in an efficient,

Like all Inova X series lights, the XO is designed,
engineered and built to professional standards.
Its body, for example, is precision-machined
aircraft aluminum clad in military-grade, Type III
anodizing and is crowned with a stainless steel
head. Critical mating surfaces are held to
± .0005" tolerances. Compression sealing
throughout includes the innovative optical
window seal that counters environmental
pressure dynamically. Its crush-proof,
shockproof, water-resistant package ensures
that the XO will thrive in harsh environments.
