The perfect sharpening system to keep your knives razor sharp.
Very good product and very easy to use for sharpening. I have used it before. It works .
Really simple to use and produces great results quickly, did my kitchen knives first and it improved the edges on them with very little effort. I haven't used it on an EDC yet but am sure it will do the business. I have a small worry that the 20 degree holes are slightly too big and the rods move from side to side, a piece of thin card stops this but I hope it doesn't get worse
For years I've muddled through various means of sharpening, with results varying from excellent to blunter than I started with. I don't have a craftsman's dexterity or precision so I ditched the stone and bought this in the hope it would be as idiot proof as (many) reviews have promised. The technique (many how-to videos online) took a few moments to master, but worth the small effort required. I tested a fine-slicing kitchen knife, a heavy, thick-bladed camping knife and a UK friendly pocket folder. They all went from dull to hair popping. I don't think it's too much of an exaggeration to say that even someone with my lack skill and patience could turn a butter knife into a scalpel on this ace little system. Well, relatively speaking. It is flippin' great though! Cheers.
Not as good as I expected maybe my lack of knowledge in sharpening
I'm not keen on 'drag through' sharpeners so bought this for quick sharpening jobs when I didn't have time to set up my 'proper' gear. I'm very happy with the results, you can re-profile the edge if you wish and produce a very decent finish. Great for beginners and experienced sharpeners alike.
Look at all the five star reviews. Just look at them! Look at this, my own five star review. Stop dithering and get this! This thing has put a fantastic edge on my UKPK and also rescued an Ontario RAT 2 D2 which had a burr from hell on it, which a fancier sharpening system was consistently failing to deal with. This thing fixes knives, fast. It’s the best sharpening tool I own. Yes, I rate it even more highly than a strop. You don’t have to worry about getting precisely right angles - you just need to be focussed, consistent and apply your pressure evenly along the blade length. Anyone can do it. Hey presto - sharp knives, quickly. Portable too, so can take it anywhere with you.
This little turn box is simple, quick, effective and cheap. It’s quite honestly the best value sharpening tool that’s out there right now. 20 strokes on medium, 20 strokes on fine and take it from me, you WILL have a sharp knife.
nought mine from HH few months ago and its awesome so easy to put a edge on a blade the lansky box is the way forward.
