What are base layers?
Base layers are designed to help keep you warm during the winter months or when visiting colder climates. They work as a thin extra layer that can easily wick away sweat during physical activities to stop you from getting cold.
They’re often better than putting on yet another jacket as they’re not as bulky and are much more breathable, making them great if you’re our mountaineering, trekking, or hunting.
What should you wear base layers under?
Base layers are designed to be thin so they can fit under your normal attire. However, we recommend still wearing a coat during winter months, whilst base layers are deigned to help keep you warmer, they won’t do all the work without appropriate clothing on top.
