    Simply excellent

Best benchmade? An exceptional design where maximum hand grip and blade length match the Griptilian but it’s a shorter stronger knife! I personally think this is benchmade best design. It’s pointy, slicey, tiny in the pocket but with a full grip. No wasted space by the pivot pin and unlike the grip or bug out this has full metal liners. If you are a steel nerd then this might be old school for you but if you want a good deep carry cross bar style lock knife, that’s not gonna let you down, it’s hard to beat this.

    Benchmade mini presidio.

Excellent overall. A little stiff on arrival but soon loosened up. Ergos are great with rock solid lock up. Highly recommended.

    BENCHMADE 575-1 MINI PRESIDIO II

A fantastic benchmade knife which might be called the mini but i can assure you if you got medium-small hands it is a near as damn it a full-size version. I already own the full sized Presidio ll Which is of exactly the same quality but is a little big for my normal day to day tasks so i gave in and went for the mini and ohh boy was i not disappointed. Beautiful fit and finish with a perfect blade in both size and the grind is perfect the edge is stupidly sharp straight out the box which i love and the action is at first a little stiff ( not a fall shut number) but over time they do indeed become as smooth as butter a total joy to use with a solid feel. Highly recommend

    Benchmade Mini Presidio

This is a knife that is made to be used. Full liner and not as smooth and ‘flicky’ as some other models. For a mini, this knife isn’t that small and is actually larger and heavier than the bugout. It’s the kind of knife to take fishing, camping, travelling. A pity it can’t be a legal EDC in this country. If you want a ‘user’ knife, don’t hesitate. It’s a good one.

    Benchmade Presidio 2 Mini

    Posted by B on 28th Aug 2021

My first Benchmade and axis lock and I think it's great. The folder is strong and well made, perfectly centred, solid with no blade play and a decent grind. Enjoyable to play with the axis lock too, let's see how long the springs last, apparently they are bigger in this particular model which could be a plus, I don't know. Apparently you can make your own. Apparently axis lock folders are being seized by customs as gravity knives so one might not want to send it back to the US for a warranty issues. I'll take a chance on this purchase as the quality seems good. After reading about BM QC I wasn't sure what to expect but the design spoke to me, the reviews were all good on this one and the price wasn't too bad either. If I was to be fussy I would say one scale isn't completely flush with the liner but it's a small thing. My only real disappointment which was felt initially but soon passed was the fact I had specifically asked for an unopened box, a sealed box or a refund as I have been getting annoyed with being sent stuff that has a broken seal. Unfortunately my request fell on deaf ears and I received another opened box with a broken seal. I was initially going to just send it back but I like the folder and I can forgive HH, nobody's perfect, four stars.

    Best of the best

Posted by Alijami on 10th Aug 2021

Previously my collection featured Bugout Black and a mini-grip as exemplars of Benchmade axis lock knives. Both not legal EDC by virtue of locking. The Mini Presidio is locking and exceeds 3". I decided I wanted a knife useable in my yard and the slightly larger dimensions are perfect for a comfortable solid grip. I love the drop-point/spear point lines. It's visually perfect as is the build quality. Nicely weighty without being heavy.

    Perfect

There's literally nothing bad to say about the Mini Presidio 2, I tried to come up with something wrong with it, but there's nothing, it's basically perfect. Maybe the fact that it uses omega springs? and they could possibly break after years of use. Apart fromt hat this knife is a solid little tank, smart too.
