    Good but far from perfect

This is a good blade for the price, however, the handle part was warped and had to be straightened and there seems to be a bit of a crack between where the blade ends and the guard. This crack seems quite common as it has been present on more than one blank I have purchased. Overall, the blade is a good shape, with a nice shape handle to boot. Even after the faults, this blade is still worth the money.

    Strange

A bit of an odd one, this. A bit like a Persian style knife but with a tang that's too long & straight One negative thing about many of the blanks on this site is that most of them have non-standard hole sizes so there is a lot of drilling out to do. This also means you can't stick to just one or two pin sizes should you want to standardize - unless you went for a big size like 6mm. But this would be a Lot of extra work i do like variety but it's a lot of drilling when you've got only Diy tools & a small shed And a limited budget. I'm starting to make my own mosaic pins & micarta as these items are outrageusly expensive with prices increasing by the week. Not sure I should have bothered with thisun but who knows - maybe it'll look better when the handle's on...now, where did I put that yellow plastic 'liner' material that I pinched off my missus' note book?!...
