I have bought several of these blades over the past few years and on a couple of occasions they arrived with minor faults, not finished to a great standard or the brass guard has been scratched or has small hammer marks in but overall, still a nice blade for the price.
I really liked the image. The over all blade blank is good but not great. First I didn't know that the hilt is fixed and a was poorly sculpted to the angel of the blade. There was a few small shaping issues, one on the back of the blade where the sander must have touched it so it's not crisp from end to end. Overall I would have expected a little better but as a starting blank it ok.
Both tantos that I, purchased as usual were poorly finished, it seems that it is always the tantos are not finished to the same standard as the rest of the knife blanks that I buy .

Great quality, perfectly balanced, sharp to the touch and pretty light, was very easy to fashion a handle too. Needs to come back in stock so I can buy another

Very happy, nice blade decent furniture,fairly sharp on arrival ok its not an expensive blade so it is not flawless but its great VFM and you get the usual HH service.
