If you’re off on a multi-day adventure we recommend a good quality waterproof dry bag. We stock a range of waterproof dry bags and stuff sacks in different sizes to suit all needs from tried and trusted brands such as Nitecore, Exped, Snugpak and Ortlieb.

What is a dry sack used for?

If you’re outdoors and you’re experiencing adverse weather conditions you might find yourself with wet and muddy clothing. If you’re camping on a multi-day trip you may wish to get changed and the last thing you want is to soak the contents of your rucksack with wet clothing.

In order to keep your backpack dry, clean, and organised you can store wet clothes inside your dry bag.

Alternatively, if your bag is only water resistant and not waterproof you may choose to put a dry bag inside with your valuables and items that need to stay dry in, in case your backpack leaks.

Some waterproof dry bags are able to compress, helping you to store more items in your backpack. You may choose to use your dry bag or stuff sack for organisational purposes, keeping your clean and dirty clothes separated for example.
