Doublestar are a knife making company based in Winchester, Kentucky. Theirs is a classic story of not finding the knives they liked and being asked by customers of their rifle parts company if they did knives. Finally they'd had enough and started to make and sell their own designs. The Double Star Brimstone is a folding knife of real quality designed by Mike Vellekamp . It has a D2 carbon steel blade with a small reverse tanto section on the tip of the blade allowing a generous curve to the edge. It is held firmly in place with a linerlock locking system. The handle is G10 with a tip-up pocket clip attached.
