Fox Wilson Titanium

Overall a great expirience with HH until this time, it took over two weeks to arrive from UK to Croatia! Almost forgot what i was ordering... and because of that I sent it back! Was mainly focusing on keeping it as a collection piece...but lost interest in the process of waiting. The knife itself was okey but expected an bigger "wow" factor form the previous reviews.

Arrived today and haven't put it down it is stunning and shaving sharp not many hears left on my arm now everything about it is perfect I've never spent this much on a knife and wasn't sure if it was worth it but I'm glad I did say it is definitely better than anything else I own. I would recommend this to everyone

I have got quite a few fox knives,mostly tactical,and i am more than happy with everyone of them,and this will be no exception.URIEL [previous review] is pretty much bang on with all said[thank god for that] . Titanium scales are IMO unusual for fox,i would maybe of preferred deeper grey,but they are very snug and grippy. Like URIEL i have bought knives a lot more expensive,last one at £430 and wouldn't even cut paper[[dont know what planet they're on where it is acceptable to charge that sort of money for a cutting implement that doesn't cut[sack em and start again] No problem here though ,ELMAX razor sharp,blade only 9mm shorter than the other knife, though this is better steel, yet £300 cheaper. This knife came,obviously very prompt..thanx H.H, it is quite smooth[one hand open and close] came very sharp,nicely package and one of foxes carry cases.Excellent value,excellent service...all the best.

This is my second Fox knife, purchased because of the exemplary fit and finish of the Fox Terzuola (with Ziricote handles). This one certainly doesn't disappoint either. Fit and finish are damn near perfect, and this is on a knife that only costs £145; I have spent far more on other knives that don't come anywhere near this level of build quality (Fallkniven springs immediately to mind). The blade is perfectly centred, with absolutely no play in any direction - and that's straight out the box; I haven't needed to touch the pivot screw at all. Lock-up is rock solid. The slightly oversized reverse side of the pivot screw acts as an over-travel stop for the lockbar, which is a nice bit of design. The back spacer is, to quote HH, "a nce touch", and it fulfils its role perfectly, ensuring that nothing in your pocket can impact the blade edge when the knife is closed. This is, in my humble opinion, something that too many knife manufacturers leave off their framelocks. I doubt that the blue anodizing will last very long, but that's something that only the most OCD-afflicted need to concern themselves with; I mean, it's hardly going to affect the actual use of the knife, is it? The titanium handle slabs are really thick, and the starburst design is nicely executed. Everything is lovely and smooth, and the knife is very comfartable in use. Blade deployment is ambidextrous, slick, easy, damn near instant, and totally thumb-driven; there's no need to flick your wrist at all. The Elmax steel is shaving sharp out the box, with perfect grinds and geometry. The jimping on the thumb ramp is too smooth to do much, to be honest, but it's of no matter as the overall shape of the open knife gives a firm grip with no worries about slippage. The blade pivots on phospor-bronze washers, which I was very glad to see. I'm not a fan of Teflon, and I feel that ball-bearing designs like KVT and IKBS are just something else that can go wrong; you can't beat the simpicity of a low-friction washer. All in all, I'm very impressed, especially at this price, and I think that I shall be adding more Fox knives to my collection.
