Description

Being jammed in confined spaces for hours is an unfortunate part of the business for many professionals. Whether it's a military unit in an a.p.c., a pilot in a cockpit, drivers in a HumVee, or a journalist in the back of a goat truck, they all have to bring their gear and they all may need to relocate in a hurry. This is the environment for which the Evac line of sling packs has been geared. They are slim shaped to be easily manoeuvred in crowds, or stored in vehicles/lockers, and are quick to take on or off. They are also ambidextrous, and unlike others in this class, are actually comfortable on the shoulder. The bottom strap clips from either the right or left lower corner and the padded section realigns itself ergonomically in the correct body- hugging direction. The bag can be rotated to the chest for on-the-go access, and all pockets are designed to face the user in this mode on either the right or left side.

  • The total customization Evac™ with full molle coverage
  • NEW 3-D thermo-moulded back- panel for support with flex
  • Padded, movable internal divider like those in photo bags
  • Small top-zipper to pass long objects like antennas/barrels
  • Side elastic-topped-pockets for water bottles, knives, etc.
  • Compression straps also cross to secure large objects
  • Relatively large volume will hold bulky items with ease
  • Generously padded back with air circulation pad array
  • NEW 3-D air-mesh under strap for ventilation & comfort
  • Full hydration bladder compatible (up to 67 Oz./ 2L)
  • One large pocket for access while on chest with organizer
  • One smaller stuff-pocket for gloves etc. with patch area
  • Large grab-handles for carrying and pulling to front/back
  • Trap-door pass for hydration hose with large bite-valve cover
  • Internal mesh zip/elastic pockets for organizing items
  • Top-open panel zipper can be accessed while on chest
  • Wind-flap zippers on all pockets to keep out the elements
  • 3-D padded shoulder strap built without any sharp edges
  • Large, locking side-push buckle is easily indexed on chest
  • Stabilizer strap links to either side/ keeps bag from sliding
  • Top/bottom compression-straps, also secure tubular items

    1. Great day bagReview by

Unlike some bags and as other reviewers mention Hazard 4 stuff is a little softer / pliable than some other bags, this makes it more comfortable to wear and little more giving when it comes to stuffing it full of gear!

the bag is easy to wear and fits on and off tube trains and busy environments well as its all behind you, access is easy to with just a swing around the torso. Making sitting down with it very easy.

I agree that it needs a rain cover, which is probably the only negative, but only because there is so much soft inner lining.

There are many attachment points and i especially like the locking clip on the main belt.

    2. Great as a patrol bag.Review by

I bought this to use as a patrol bag at work. It holds my gloves, extra sweater, powerbars, beanie, water, first aid kit, plasticuffs, cash, pens, flashlight and other odds and ends. It will not fit A4 papers, only if folded in half, which is not a problem. First impressions are, that it's smaller than expected, but that was also a plus, as it does not take up much place in the car or my overfilled locker. The bag is well built and the details well thought off. Rain gear can be strapped to the sides. Not as overbuilt as Maxpedition, but not as heavy or stiff either. The admin pocket renders an extra internal organizer superfluos. So far, I'm very pleased with it. I will update my review after a couple of months use. Thanks HH! (Posted on )
    3. Adaptable, versatile & compactReview by

Currently being used in Iraq as a medical/bug-out bag with much success. Time will tell if build quality and robustness are built into this bag. Holds a suprising amount of kit (if carefully packed) and adaptable to different mission loads. It can be increased in carrying capacity with the addition of external pouches (just remember where you put stuff!). Comfortable to wear/use in 50 degree desert heat. My only suggestion would be the addition of a stowable rain cover (like Lowe camera pouches) to protect sensitive items in dust/rain storm. (Posted on )
    4. Good, but not brilliantReview by

Owned mine for two years and have used it nearly every day for work, as I ride on a bike. It's adaptability is good, as is its access. Quality is average to good, though still have concerns over the MOLLE loops not being stitched into the seams. None of my extra pouches have fallen off and the loops are not loose, they just look untidy. The shoulder strap has started to wear quite badly in one place, but I suppose any bag would have that if used daily for two years. (Posted on )

Excellent bag, like the way you can customise the bag with the molle system. 10/10 for Heinnie service. (Posted on )
