The Kershaw CQC-5K features a modified clip-point blade for versatile cutting capability. Black-oxide coating protects the blade and makes it non-reflective, too. G-10 handles in olive drab provide secure grip and a locking liner means safe and solid blade lock up.

The CQC-5K is a manual opener using either the thumb disk or the patented Emerson "wave shaped feature." This opening feature enables the knife to be opened as it is removed from the pocket. By the time the knife has been fully withdrawn from the pocket, the blade is deployed and ready for use. A small wave-shaped tab on the top of the blade is built to catch on the pocket seam, opening the knife as it comes out of the pocket. This instant-open feature is a favorite among military, rescue, and law enforcement knife users.

The pocketclip is reversible for left- or right-handed carry.

Woah the KERSHAW EMERSON CQC 5K is a very impressive little knife. Fit's my hands well and the wave function of this knife is awesome (it has a little hook cut out on top of the blade that hooks the corner of your pocket when u pull it out for an auto deployment as u pull it out your pocket). For the price its a perfect little work knife for me and very awesome design by Emerson

Nice little blade

I brought this knife a few months ago and I'm really happy with the purchase. At first it was quite hard to flick open with the thumb disc but after a while the blade loosened up and it has a nice smooth action to it. The edge on it came pretty much razor sharp out of the box. It fits perfectly in my pocket and I always carry it around in my house and garden. Unfortunately I can't take it any further because I live in the UK . Overall good knife for the price tag! As usual thanks HH for the swift and perfect service! :)

Low cost Emerson

Lovely knife at the fraction of the cost of an Emerson. Wave feature works perfectly and excellent finish. Once again, fantastic service from Heinnie Haynes. I also purchased the CQC4 and, although I love the frame lock, I feel the finish is much better on this knife. For the price, this is great value for money.
