    Perfect for COVID-19 kit

Posted by Lucky Jim on 24th Jun 2020

Heinnie’s legendary delivery service came up with the goods very fast. I’ve added a couple of mollle belt clips and I use the Barnacle as a grab and go container for a couple of face masks, a bottle of hand sanitiser, a few alcohol pre-med wipes, and a Hygiene Hand brass tool on a retractable lanyard fixed inside the Barnacle with a short length of paracord. Great for taking on the way out of the house for bus, train, shops, work or anywhere needing a bit of COVID caution at the moment. I’m thinking of kitting out the rest of the family, too.

Another brilliant bit of Maxpedition kit!

Superb little pouch and ideal as a personal (prescription) drug pack so I know I've always got spares with me in case. As always excellent and SO quick service from Heinnie, well done team!

    Perfect for small items

Posted by Darren I on 29th Oct 2014

I usually carry a lighter, flashlight, Victorinox Cybertool, Fisher Bullet pen, mini Sharpie, USB stick, hand wipes, hair ties, and a fiver in mine. All items are easy to reach when you need 'em, and for me, that's the main benefit. No need for pocket-patting. I could fit my earphones in there too, but I clip them to the zipper pull instead. I also stick a Schrade one-piece multitool in the slip pocket behind the flap pocket on the front, a lot of people don't realise that's there. If I decide to carry something else, the pouch will easily fit a Cybershot camera, or a Samsung Galaxy Ace. All in all, it's a top pouch. The only possible downside is that you will need Tac-Ties or similar. *Miscellaneous products mentioned to give an idea of size.

    Great small pouch

The Barnacle has a divider in the center with a soft side to protect cameras / phones etc. A couple of elasticated pockets inside and the outside flap pocket. Light speed delivery by Heinnie Haynes as usual. Thanks.

Holds my digital camera, mobile phone, memory card and a credit card tool, all in one compact package. Robust and bomb-proof, a must have purchase.

    Very practical

Posted by Mads on 20th Mar 2009

Attaches with a pair of 3inch Tacties to the front strap of my Pygmy Falcon 2. Sits nice and tight on the strap, and holds all the small things needed throughout the day. Robust zippers, hardwearing materials and useful dividers inside the pocket. Beats having to take the backpack off every time.

    Barnacle Pouch

Tough, When attached to the front of a rucksack makes a good place to store the small items you need to get to quickly. Reasonably weather and mud proof. Has a multitude of elasticated pockets inside to retain items.
