Alpine Routes. Ski Touring. South American Vacation. The Big sky is possibly the most versatile pack from the Mystery Ranch Adventure line. The signature 3Zip design opens the top and front of pack wide to easily load awkward items like a rope, rack of cams or hard case storage. You can then zip the pack closed around the load instead of trying to finagle these items through a shroud. This feature allows the Big Sky to be loaded more like a suitcase than a pack. Plus, the Live Wing waist belt can be folded into the sides of the pack – perfect for travelling. It’s no secret that the Big Sky is a favourite of the employees at Mystery Ranch. All fabrics are double-coated: one side with a polyurethane coating, the other side with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment for excellent water resistance.
