    New tool grin bar

    I bought this in the hope it would fulfil an un-advertised function. It doesn’t. It won’t carry a trigger pack of anti-covid spray. It WILL carry small bottles of water, as claimed. I don’t possess a metal water bottle, but unless it’s got a small neck I’m not sure it’d work. The S clip is nice, but wont work on work trousers as the belt loops are too wide for it. Hanging from a Mikita D loop makes the bottle too far from the body, so it slaps about. It’s a talking point though, so gets points for that! Bottle opener works. And I’ve used the nutcracker as an awkward pry bar.

    I've had many cheap versions of this kind of bottle clip in the past. The idea is simple and effective, but the cheap ones always have rubbish webbing and low quality clips. Good enough to be useful but does not last. I had in mind for many years that I wanted one without webbing and made of good metal - and finally, here it is! Ordered one to check it was as I hoped, it is; now back to order a few more to distribute around bags. Note, although I have no need for a bottle opener - its design does mean the device easily attaches to other larger clips I already have attached on various bags etc.
