  1. Good but not quite perfect Review by

Very good overall knife, blades came almost razor sharp.
Only sight issue is the slightly weak spring. The smaller of the two blades on my example has a weaker spring than the other, not sure if that is part of the design or just a manufacturing error. Not a big issue though and well worth the price.

    Overall a cracking carry knife

It came almost razor sharp. Nice walk and talk for the blades. The fit and finish is good, but taking in consideration the price, it is ok.
A little bit heavy for my taste, but probablly all of the 2 bladers are.

This has just arrived great service as usual,I wonder how rough rider manage to produce a knife of this quality at such a low price. I purchased the case Texas jack for Christmas and the RR matches if not betters it for fit and finish at less than a third of the price. (Posted on )

Delighted with this little belter. The fit and finish are amazing and better than several high priced blades in my posession.

Agree with every positive point that the other reviewers have made.

I phoned the order through at 3.30pm and the knife arrived at 08.30 the next day. That's a 16 hour turn round!

    Thank you HH.

    Brilliant knife and brilliant service.

  5. Another surprise from RR!Review by

Ordered p.m. and on my doormat as I got home the next day. There is so much other firms could learn from HH - thanks guys!

I started a knife collection because I love peasant's knives (Svord, Opinel, Douk Douk, etc) but it seems the majority at the mo are Rough Riders - how do they provide this level of quality at that price?

This copperhead should have cost twice the price, I'm sure. Both blades hair-popping sharp out-of-the-box and the build has no flaws at all. My only negative comment would be that the springs could be stronger but this isn't an issue, I don't carry a slipjoint for heavy-duty tasks.

The fit and finish on this knife are superb, not a single gap anywhere. For the price i wasn't expecting it to be this good, have had worse slip joints at 4 or 5 times the price
Put it on the ceramic rods followed by a strop and it now takes the hairs of my arm
The Copperhead is a lovely traditional pattern and really pleased i bought this

Usual HH service, ordered Friday recieved Saturday morning, bravo

Straight out of the box it is a great little knife. Sharp with an easy opening action. Nice build and well finished. Fits well in the hand. You could spend more but why bother This is yet another top product from Rough Rider. (Posted on )

Pretty size, handle fits exactly in a grown man's hand.
Two blades parted by copper liners, no blade rub posible.
Fit and finnish verry good due to non complicated construction.
I have a RR whitler wich is pretty complicated with 3 blade springs and stuf which has to fit in a small package.
Just 2 springs of the same size, pretty simple construction.
The knive is JUST large enough to be a grown man's knive, without being to large !
Nice story, aparantly US soldiers in the Vietnam war used to carry the Copperhead often.
Why this and not for example the Trapper, no idea but this is a nicer knive with great shape blades.
1 clip point and 1 sort of fishing filet knive.
Would be nice if RR would make a commemorative Vietnam verion of this knive, sales would realy hit the roof on that i think.
Lots of Trapper special editions, but with cheap plastics and the blade shape on them are not so nice as on a Copperhead.
Realy worth its money with a perfect size.
And proven practicality in the jungle !

Very nice but had to glue the shield back in as it fell out apart from that very nice build for price (Posted on )

Two blades, one clip point and one that I would describe as a skinning / fillet blade. Both paper slicing sharp out of the box. Quick strop on a leather belt brought both blades up to shaving sharp.
Blades are centered, walk & talk is good. Back springs are firm enough without being over aggressive.
My first throught when I examined it was that it would make a good rabbiting knife. Blade combintion should handle skinning and gutting a rabbit quite nicely.
